Jerzy Banski, Josef Bernard and Andreas Klärner from the project team at SPC Spatial co-organized seven sessions on the topic of Social and political consequences of spatial inequalities – the rural gap, peripheralisation and left behind rural areas at the XXIXth European Society for Rural Sociology Congress: Crises and the futures of rural areas. The congress took place at Rennes, France from July 3 – 7, 2023. The sessions were co-organized with Luis Camarero, Renato do Carmo, Jesús Oliva, and María J. Rivera.
